I was on a little business trip to Africa. I didn't see much of Johannesburg, I didn't missed it though. Every building was surrounded by walls and barbed wire. It didn't made me feel save, on the contrary. The hotels where interesting - I called them fake cities. Again, surrounded by a wall and barbed wire, you can find everything you possibly want, theater, cinema, 50 different restaurants and bars, a casino, disco, spa, gym, shops fake beach and even a zoo ... all in one ... no need to leave outside. I looooved the safari, no walls, no barbed wire - at least they were to far away to be visible.
